a unique experience for children and for parents. Surrounded by trees and a calm atmosphere accompanied by experienced instructors and calm horses. Personal treatment and care for each child –
individual progress, mentally, physically and emotionally.
Our horses go through special training and taming
for therapeutic riding based on children’s needs
Sessions are guided by Rachel Hefer: licensed therapeutic-riding instructor – Wingate graduate with a bachelor’s degree in special education, licensed Animal-Assisted Therapist, highly experienced.
Our therapeutic riding incorporates remedial education and Instrumental Enrichment.

Therapeutic riding is an enjoyable and educational way of improving the quality of life for children and adults with special need (behavioral, physical and emotional).

What makes riding a unique experience? The horse’s strength and motion, the ability to direct its movements and the interaction with the rider create an environment capable of giving the participants a better way to cope with problems and help overcome them. Throughout the therapeutic riding instructors support, direct and aid the riders in any way needed. Riders learn to cope with their weaknesses and affect them using their strengths. Through the therapeutic riding the riders are given tools to handle everyday struggles, at school and with friends and family.
